La Maison Sublime

Guided tours depart in front of the main entrance of the Rouen Palais de Justice, where you will be welcomed by a guide at the sign dedicated to the Maison Sublime.
General public guided tours
Saturdays at 10:30am and 2:30pm
Additional visits during school holidays on Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30 pm.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the guided tour.
Price: €9.50 / person – Reduced price*: €8.50/person – Free for children under 6
People entitled to reduced rate:
- Children and young people between 6 and 18 years old
- Students of any age, with proof of study
- Teachers with valid Pass Education
- Large families, with proof
- Those holding a disability card, disabled ex-soldiers, the severely disabled and veterans, with proof
- Jobseekers, with proof from the last 6 months
- People receiving RSA (tax credits)/minimum payments/basic pension with proof
- Holders of the “Pass en liberté” from the Rouen Tourism Office
People entitled to free entry:
- Children under 6
- Carer of person holding a disability card with the note “needs carer” (valid for 1 carer)
- Journalists with a press card
- Those holding ICOM, ICOMOS, IAA or AICA cards
- Speakers and national, regional and auxiliary guide-interpreters holding a valid card
The site is only open during specific time slots for tours, and accompanied by a guide. Closed 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.

Access
The Maison Sublime is located in the courtyard of the Rouen Palais de Justice. There are various options to get there, but we encourage you to take public transport:
- By train, Rouen Rive Droite SNCF station (1 hour and 10 minutes from Paris St Lazare)
- By metro, Palais de Justice station
- By bus, TEOR stop: Cathedral
- By car: paid parking nearby in the city centre
- By coach: Place de la Halle aux Toiles, Place Martin Luther King and Place de l’Hotel de Ville drop-off parking. Free tourist coach parking at Quai Émile Duchemin and Place Carnot (map can be downloaded from this page).
- By bicycle – Cy’Clic stations :

Conditions of access
As the Maison Sublime de Rouen is located within the Palais de Justice, each visitor must be in possession of his national identity card or passport.
Access to the site is subject to a security gate, all food, drink and armed objects will be systematically projected at the entrance or will prevent access to the tour.
The site has no concierge, luggage (suitcases, large backpack) are strongly discouraged and can slow down access checks.
Due to public health measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, tours at the Maison Sublime might be subject to certain limitations when you visit. Information at: Coronavirus info
Rouen’s Maison Sublime is only partially accessible for people with reduced mobility. Please let us know about your personal situation when booking.
The site does not have toilet facilities, please make prior arrangements.
